Tal Mor is a full time Business Software Consultant and a film maker from Israel, living in the Netherlands. Tal took our first Create the Film Look Course and I worked one-to-one with Tal to help him overcome some of his film making challenges. Tal is a great example of someone who has enormous talent and a desire to become the film maker he always dreamed of being despite a highly successful career in IT.
Tal's story will resonate with many people and I hope his story encourages you and gives you the inspiration to take action and follow your dream.
This film is the result of Tal applying techniques he learned on the program.

I like to learn the different aspects of film-making: cinematography, directing, editing, special effects, in hope to make it my full time occupation in the future.
I'm learning by following filmmakers blogs & online resources. Trying to get more & more technical. Which is why I was lucky to find out about Den.
In 2010, I started following Den's video tutorials. I read & listened a lot. All in theory.
I was happy to put all that I learned in theory, finally into practice when I shot my very first video with a DSLR at the dead-sea.
The video was shot outdoors, all with natural sun light.

I was then happy to find Den's CFTL course.
It was just what I needed in order to take my craft a step forward and start dealing with production lighting. A thorough & structured course which also gave me a good understanding of practical lighting techniques.
I decided to take the 1 on 1 session with Den.
It was the first time ever that a professional was looking at my work. I was excited. I gotta say that I enjoyed every minute of it and could keep on talking with Den for hours. We had an open discussion, very professional and most of all, inspiring. I felt assured that I'm taking the right approach and got more confident to explore wider areas of filming. It all proved to be invaluable when I had to light the dancers in my 2nd music video "May's Pause" If you would like to experience similar results to Tal, you can learn more about our Film Look 101 Program - Creating the Film Look
